In order for clients and service providers to move to the world of “progressive outsourcing”, the skills and capabilities of solution architects need to change. Working with legacy solution architects will not result in a successful future engagement. The new solution architects need to have a business outcome orientation, be adaptive, understand the way that robotic/process automation is changing solutioning, be analytics conversant and be capable of building talent management requirements upfront into the initial solution.
