Joel Martin, research leader for cloud and SaaS strategies at HFS Research, says Kyndryl’s USP remains unclear. “Our view is that they have really struggled with what their big differentiator is, and how they are going to benefit the market,” he says. “If you have some IBM-Z servers and the need to work with a company that has a strong pedigree in private cloud and the ability to bring in public cloud services too, Kyndryl is bringing that to market. The problem is, so is everyone else.”
