AntWorks tunes IDP solution for Pega customers

Home » Research & Insights » AntWorks tunes IDP solution for Pega customers

For the most effective business outcomes, you need solutions tailored to your specific business environment. AntWorks has tuned its human-emulating intelligent document processing (IDP) solution to benefit Pega customers. AntWorks’ cognitive machine learning (ML) IDP solution, CMR+ is now available on the Pega Marketplace.

That doesn’t mean you have to be a Pega customer to use AntWorks, but it does mean Pega customers can access CMR+, either directly from AntWorks or as part of a more tailored solution from a Pega service partner, such as Virtusa, Accenture, or Cognizant, to name just a few. Pega service partners deliver value by integrating CMR+ into their solutions. They can also offer consulting, integration, and support services to support long-term deployment success for customers.

The version you will find on the Pega Marketplace has been optimized for the Pega environment.

CMR+ is enhanced to handle a wide range of complex documents at speed

As we highlighted here, AntWorks has significantly enhanced its solution. CMR+ sets out to mimic human capabilities to scan documents to make the process easier and faster for customers. For example, CMR+ does not require you to submit templated data, and it can recognize any type of document, such as an insurance claim, to set the context and improve accuracy. You don’t need to worry about data formats, as CMR+ can scan different data formats, including email, images, and digital and hand-written forms, in documents 300-600 pages long. AntWorks has also made CMR+ easier for customers and partners to build on by providing a set of low-code/no-code (LCNC) tools, to search for industry-specific information.

AntWorks claims its proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) enables you to train CMR+ quickly, as it needs only a few documents to deliver highly accurate results. Moreover, you can use its intelligent classification capabilities to capture complex documents in multiple languages. Additional benefits include flexible, modular offerings, so you can select the specific elements you need. And, it can be integrated with other systems, which is essential for alignment with the OneOffice, which stipulates adopting a silo-busting enterprise-wide mindset.

The potential business outcomes are clear. Accessing fast and accurate document processing improves business processes, reduces errors, and allows you to redeploy employees to more high-value, interesting tasks.

A place at Pega’s table offers AntWorks credibility and sets the course for a range of tailored enterprise solutions

The Pega Marketplace brings together more than 300 solutions developed by Pega experts, its service partner ecosystem, and independent software vendors (ISV) to facilitate fast and easy Pega deployments for customers. It includes applications, components, integrations, language packs, and packaged service offerings. Pega conducts rigorous tests before accepting any solution on its platform for partners and customers. This includes quality testing, compatibility with the Pega environment, and alignment with a Pega go-to-market strategy or industry.

The Pega Marketplace is a network in which software, service, and customer organizations work together to build solutions that align with specific business needs. For example, Virtusa’s vEngage solution helps banks to personalize their customers’ journeys.

AntWorks is also developing tailored industry solutions and is pursuing opportunities to build use cases with Pega Industry teams and service providers. For example, AntWorks is collaborating with a product engineering company, ConceptVines, to enrich CMR+ offerings. Enterprises can look forward to a range of tailored solutions on the Pega Marketplace using CMR+.

The Bottom Line: Pega validation proves the quality of AntWorks tech—now, it must prove its value with enterprise case studies

Pega is a good partner choice. It ranked 14th in our SaaS XXV report based on customer and partner feedback creating business value. However, AntWorks has been off the radar in the past 12 months as it worked on CMR+. Its main challenge now is to increase awareness of its new product with customers and partners. The ISV also needs to clarify its differentiation, as it is not the only IDP solution on the Pega Marketplace. As a relatively new product—released in April 2022—CRM+ must net several enterprise case studies, both direct and with partners, to demonstrate the value it can bring to the enterprise.
