Chief Financial Officer and Head of Operations
Ruth is the Chief Financial Officer and Head of Operations at HFS and has been supporting the company for six years. She manages the accounting systems, payroll, tax returns, and banking. She also supports client and supplier accounts, payments, and finance documents.
Ruth's background is in the financial services industry; prior to working for HFS, she worked for Nationwide Building Society, Abbey National (Santander), and Nationwide Commercial Finance. She has also worked on consulting and smaller-scale projects for local authorities. Throughout her career, Ruth has prepared accounts and tax returns and supported the compliance of a wide range of clients and businesses with constantly changing data and tax regulations.
In addition to enjoying studying, reading, and math puzzles, she is a great lover of the outdoors. In her spare time, she can usually be found in her vegetable garden tending her chickens, rabbits, and giant bunnies.
