Procurian Fuels its Energy Spend Solutions by Acquiring Utilities Analyses

Leading procurement solutions provider Procurian announced its acquisition of Utilities Analyses, Inc. (UAI) this week. The indirect spend specialist has extended its energy-saving solutions with this addition, deepening the company’s capabilities to optimize spending for its clients. UAI is an Atlanta, Georgia–based specialist firm focused on bringing energy cost reductions and savings to multi-location customers from government, commercial, industrial, and institutional segments. Earlier this year, we analyzed the rebranding efforts that Procurian underwent, transforming from ICG Commerce to better convey its chosen expertise in comprehensive procurement solutions. We believe absorbing UAI is a step in the same direction, for a number of reasons.
