Empowering Enterprises on their GenAI Quest: HFS Unveils First Competitive Analysis of Leading Service Providers

NEW YORK, October 24, 2023 – HFS Research has issued the industry’s first-ever competitive analysis of professional technology services firms offering generative AI services. This ground-breaking report enables corporations to select the right partner to help realize their GenAI objectives.

At a time when corporations are racing to adopt generative AI at an unprecedented pace, the lack of comprehensive information on technology service providers capable of supporting their GenAI ambitions has posed a significant challenge.

HFS Horizons: Generative Enterprises Services, 2023, examines and assesses 35 leading service providers’ capabilities to understand the Why, What, How, and So What? of their GenAI technologies. Based on the research, HFS identifies 15 providers with the capabilities to transform a company into a market leader. Profiles of each detail these providers’ strengths and weaknesses. The report places the 20 remaining providers into horizons based on what they offer.

The horizons framework offers a big picture analysis of the impact of GenAI based on the data points and customer feedback gathered for this study.

The analysis is informed by HFS’ in-depth research, which began with an open call for technology service provider participation. Each participant provided customer and partner references.  The research was based on their responses, supplemented by additional customer reference data, briefings from each participant, and publicly available announcements, datapoints and case studies. For firms who chose not to participate, HFS researchers drew on publicly available announcements, data, case studies and observations from leaders across functions and industries.
