New York and London, March 15, 2022: HFS Research is pleased to announce the launch of the inaugural SaaS XXV report, the first report of its kind to look across the entire SaaS market to rate the vendors for business impact, partner engagement, customer intent to invest, and alignment with HFS OneOffice outcomes.

The report, available for a complimentary download at HFSResearch.com, was authored by the HFS team of SaaS expert analysts, including Practice Leader David Cushman, Associate Practice Leader Khalda De Souza, Data Analyst Mohit Srivastava, Research Leader Joel Martin, and CEO and Chief Analyst Phil Fersht. The SaaS XXV reveals insights from interviews and data collected from more than 1,000 business and technology decision-makers, software vendors, IT/business services, and leading consulting firms.

“The HFS SaaS XXV initiative tracks, engage, and evaluates SaaS providers and articulates the value of the business outcomes they support through enabling end-to-end process flows,” says HFS CEO and Chief Analyst Phil Fersht. “Today’s SaaS solutions complement and enhance customer, employee, and partner experiences by including AI, analytics, automation frameworks, APIs, and low-code tools. For HFS, this report is just the beginning of this new era of genuine SaaS/Services convergence as we make the final leap from analog to digital.”

SaaS converges with services

The report examines how the convergence of SaaS and services has furthered the capabilities of the software as a critical tool for achieving sustainable business outcomes.

According to Research Leader Joel Martin, “We are seeing the automation of many foundational outsourcing functions, such as call centers, analysis, project tracking, and workflow management, delivered as-a-service. With more than 1,000 interviews with business and decision-makers, our SaaS XXV captures this seismic shift and provides insight into the SaaS providers that deliver maximum business value creation to enterprises.”

The SaaS XXV report is the first of many SaaS-focused initiatives that HFS is launching in the coming months. Soon the firm will release a broader ranking of the 100 top SaaS vendors, which will join the existing Top 10 and HFS Hot Vendors programs as the industry’s premier vendor ranking metrics.
