New York, London, Anywhere, December 23, 2020: HFS Research, the leading technology, and services analyst firm, today announced the launch of a visionary cloud research practice by welcoming industry veteran Joel Martin (bio) to its research leadership team.
Joel Martin, based in Ottawa, Canada, has held senior roles in enterprise software across cloud, cyber security, and SaaS solutions, including strategy and marketing leadership roles with Microsoft, and cybersecurity firm Crypto4A Technologies. In his earlier career, he spent ten years with IT analyst IDC leading services, hardware, and software teams across Canada, Australia, and the Czech Republic.
Joel Martin joins the HFS team as Research Vice President for Cloud Strategies. His role is to produce research for HFS’ global client network helping IT and business leader make crucial decisions on designing, adopting, managing, and governing their growing portfolio of Cloud solutions.
Commenting on his appointment, Joel Martin added, “Having spent over two decades researching emerging technologies, the emergence of HFS to drive a refreshing, unbiased and visionary outlook has been exciting and energizing to watch.
