Accenture launched its Cloud First division in September last year with a $3 Billion investment plan over the next three years to help its clients accelerate their digital transformation. This includes a group of cloud professionals offering the clients a full spectrum of end-to-end cloud services including cloud migration, infrastructure, and application services.
Since its launch of Cloud First, Industrie&Co is the 10th acquisition by Accenture to strengthen its Cloud First model. Other recent Cloud First acquisitions have been geographically focused, including French-based LinkbyNet, Sweden based Cygni, UK-based AWS Advanced Consulting Partner Infinity Works, US-based cloud-native and platform engineering platform Imaginea, Argentinean cloud-native and agile development firm Wolox, Australian based Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure Specialist firm Olikka, Spain-based cloud migration and related services provider Enimbos
Accenture acquired Industrie&Co, an Australian next-generation digital transformation & technology services company. Headquartered in Sydney, the company has a presence throughout Australia and few Southeast Asian countries. With 173 employees, the company provides expertise in building and designing cloud-native platforms for financial sector services.
With the acquisition of the cloud solutions provider, Accenture’s Cloud First will benefit from additional talent and skills in cloud optimization and management, infrastructure engineering services, cloud transformation, and security services. This further enhances its geographical reach and localization efforts, rapidly increasing its client portfolio. In addition, this will bolster Cloud First’s capabilities in delivering cloud expertise by building digital platforms and services to the clients and transform them into digital businesses
“Industrie&Co brings even more cloud-first skills to help Accenture clients innovate with speed, predictability, and holistic value as they shape, move and operate their businesses in the cloud.”
Karthik Narain, Global lead for Accenture Cloud First
