Texas-based process mining tech and services business Mindzie has announced a new training platform for its low-code platform and color-coded process maps—all aimed at making life easier for business leaders to identify process performance and conformance issues, and automation opportunities.
Mindzie targets middle and large enterprises and organizations, with easy-to-understand process analytics to provide actionable advice. An AI-driven recommendation engine guides leaders on where to focus on getting the best results.
Color-coding highlights specific performance and conformance issues users should focus on; users can tailor dashboards to highlight the most pertinent information. Dashboards present data in easy-to-follow formats mimicking PowerPoint slides, and users conduct their own process analysis with templates. Features include root cause analysis and a log enrichment capability to isolate specific data for analysis.
Initially part of the Microsoft for Startups program, Mindzie received its seed funding of $2.3 million in 2020. It continues leveraging Microsoft Azure and Blazor technologies to host and build its offerings. Mindzie’s low-code process mining platform helps customers optimize business processes spanning finance, customer support, HR, manufacturing, and supply chain. In addition to Microsoft ERP systems such as AX and Dynamics, Mindzie supports other systems, including SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, JD Edwards, Workday, ServiceNow, and Salesforce.
Mindzie’s latest addition is a new training platform for delivering training and certification courses to provide customers with an “always on” helping hand as they engage with the Mindzie platform; it also supports a growing partner ecosystem. Certification is available in “Mindzie studio” at levels 1 and 2, with advanced data management and an introduction to process mining coming soon.
Customers HFS spoke with highlighted Mindzie’s business orientation and ease of use as key strengths. They tell us they see new efficiencies in processes across procurement and supply chains. One told us they had delivered substantial value by applying Mindzie across various processes. Customers also appreciate the friendly user experience (UX), Mindzie’s responsiveness, and the product’s affordability. One customer with experience in deploying huge SAP implementations described using Mindzie as a “no brainer” given its capabilities at a low price point.
The business also offers process-mining-as-a-service with resource-constrained small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) in mind. Mindzie experts are employed as part of this service to identify optimization opportunities for their customers. Although set up to target mid-sized companies, Mindzie has landed a large enterprise customer and is growing its direct salesforce alongside a growing partner ecosystem.
Going forward, Mindzie, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, will continue to expand its partner ecosystem and should consider partnering with RPA and low-code vendors to flesh out its automation offering.
Unlocking insights is good. Making them available to the people who need them in a consumable format is better. Mindzie is taking great steps toward providing the latter to the SME market. The approach is gathering interest from enterprises, too. Mindzie’s efforts to forge a tight link between process mining and action should prompt all enterprise leaders to ask their process intelligence providers to find better ways to deliver process insights in ways that best align with their own decision-making processes.
