This report provides a detailed analysis of public sector contracts worldwide by service types, geographies and tenure.
Key findings are:
1. Public sector was the major consumer in the ITO-BPO outsourcing market, thus contributing 22% for the year 2017. 81% of the contracts were from ITO services for public sector in the last year
2. Public sector contributed an estimated total contract value of $63.8 billion and annual contract value of $11.4 billion in 2017. The number of public sector contracts had significantly grown in each quarter of 2017 except the Q4
3. ADM and digital services were the key drivers of the ITO services in public sector followed by infrastructure services. Government BPO and HRO are the key drivers of the BPO services
4. 42% of public sector deals are digital, cloud (37%), and security (21%) were driven the digital services followed by analytics and mobility
5. Unites States lead the public sector deals by 56% in 2017 followed by UK & Ireland and Australia.
