Which Service Provider Owns the Minds of IT Executives in 2013: Business Intelligence and Big Data

Vendor mindshare is quickly becoming another important indicator for predicting swift changes in dynamic IT markets. Based on the mindshare survey results, HfS concludes that the vendors IT executives prefer for Business Intelligence and Big Data in 2013 are as follows: (a) SAP, (b) Google, (c) Oracle, (d) SAS, and (e) IBM. Overall, this market has an interesting mix of product vendors and service providers. This makes it one of the first markets where there is no longer a clear separation between products and services. HfS believes that other markets will follow that example in the near future.
