Practice Leader

Srini Vaddepalli is a practice leader and analyst for HFS Research. He specializes in covering information technology (IT) and business process management (BPM) service providers in finance and accounting (F&A), sourcing and procurement (S2P) horizontals, and the manufacturing vertical. With more than 15 years of experience across a service provider (Capgemini), an analyst firm (ISG), and a client (Eastman Chemical), he has gained expertise from different perspectives within the IT/BP business areas.

Throughout his career, Srini has led market intelligence projects, developed go-to-market (GTM) strategies, conducted primary research, and assessed providers and locations. He has worked closely with stakeholders to collect and analyze information to support effective decision-making. Additionally, he has managed a team and enhanced proprietary databases to generate valuable insights for thought leadership papers. His interests include keeping track of the IT and BP services industries and exploring the impact of AI, automation, data analytics, and sustainability on business processes in the chemical, tobacco, and packaging industries.

Srini is a commerce graduate with a double master’s in library and information science and business administration (marketing). He completed the business analytics program (EEP) from IIM Bangalore. Srini lives in Hyderabad, India, with his wife and two kids. He loves to read, practice yoga, and run whenever he feels overweight. He is also a passionate Toastmaster. He loves networking and connecting the dots.
